A spokesman explained: “When parish priest Ellie falls in love she cannot anticipate the consequences. Uncertain as to whether her parishioners would support her, Ellie chooses to keep her relationship secret.”

“As the relationship is revealed, loyalties are torn and friendships broken. The Good Shepherd explores family, love and betrayal. It’s the story of a woman torn between her passion and her ministry.
