Thieves gained entry to the theatre in Princess Street and stole a quantity of cash.
Princess Chairman Peter Burridge-Clayton told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Unfortunately, we have suffered a recent forced entry when thieves got into the building via a window.”
He said that apart from a small sum of money, nothing else had been taken in the break-in, which occurred during December.
He added: “The window has been secured and other measures are being taken to increase security.”
