A powerful dance production is coming to Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre this June in which the audience will be taken back to January 27, 1945 at Auschwitz.
Re-ACT Dance will present ‘Liberty – Work Will Set Your Free’ on Saturday June 1st at 7.30pm.
“Inspired by the astonishing historical event, follow the lives of our prisoners of war, reimagining their memories, hopes and fears in the days leading up to the liberation of the most famous concentration camp in history,” said a spokesperson.
“Escaping confinement through the medium of dance, this evocative, full scale production features contemporary, commercial, soft shoe tap, jive and many more dance styles. Watch relationships grow, tyrants fall and history repeat itself.”
