Police closed a main road through Brean on Sunday (November 24th) after a power line came down overnight.
Police shut Warren Road after a motorist found the fallen power line stretching across the road.
Western Power Distribution worked throughout the morning to restore power to homes in the area that were affected by the incident near Brean Farm, as pictured.
A spokesman said that four homes had been left without power and that the cause of the power line falling was not known.
The road was re-opened by Burnham Police mid-afternoon.
