Power firm apology after 544 homes were left without electricity in Burnham

Hundreds of homes in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge were left without power on Wednesday evening (June 5th). 

A total of 544 properties were without electricity in the TA8 area from around 7.10pm following a high voltage fault.

Western Power Distribution worked to restore supplies and all homes affected had their power back by 8.30pm.

A spokesman for Western Power Distribution apologised to customers who were affected by the issues.
