Deep pot holes along a road in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea have this week been repaired, thanks to Burnham-On-Sea.com’s news item about the problem last week.
We published a news article last Wednesday highlighting the poor condition of the tarmac in Adam Street, pictured right.
After taking up the issue with Somerset County Council and Burnham County Councillor Peter Burridge-Clayton, the road has this week been fully repaired – as shown above.
One Adam Street resident, who contacted us last week about the problems, said on Tuesday evening: “Thanks go to Burnham-On-Sea.com and Cllr Clayton for getting this resolved so quickly. The road is now much safer for cyclists to use now.”
