Pontins in Brean inspected by council’s environmental health officers

-

Brean’s Pontins holiday park has been inspected by environmental health officers following complaints from holidaymakers about the resort’s cleanliness.

Pontins has come under scrutiny several times in recent years – and again this summer by frustrated tourists.

A spokeswoman for Sedgemoor District Council confirmed that several environmental health officers have visited the holiday park this month following complaints to the authority.

“Environmental Health Officers have visited and given advice, but to date there is nothing that is a prosecutable offence,” said the council this week.
