This was the scene at a busy Burnham-On-Sea road on Tuesday morning (December 19th) after a two-vehicle accident caused it to be closed for almost two hours.
Police and paramedics rushed to Stoddens Lane just after 8am after reports that a Toyota car and a lorry had collided on a stretch of the road just past the railway bridge.
Avon and Somerset Police spokesman Dan Mountain told Burnham-On-Sea.com the accident had occurred at 8.07am and that there had been no injuries.
Recovery of the vehicles was underway at 9.30am and the road re-opened at around 10am.
