The first of a series of weekly ‘community drop-in sessions’ is being held at Highbridge’s police pod on Tuesday (July 14th).
The centre, which is located in the Asda car park, will be open every Tuesday from 10am-2pm, when it will be manned by volunteers from Highbridge’s Local Action Team and local PCSOs.
“The pod will provide computer access for visitors to freely search for local job vacancies, gain employment advice, and get help with filling out lengthy forms,” said a spokesman.
“Our computer is linked up to the Job Centre website, making it ideal for those of you that may have difficulties travelling to the Job Centre in Bridgwater.”
“There will also be a wide range of helpful and informative leaflets to take away – or you can just call by for a friendly cup of tea and a chat!”
