A man was arrested after failing a breath test following a two-car accident in Queen’s Drive, Burnham-On-Sea, on Tuesday morning (December 12th).
Motorists travelling out of the town towards the M5 motorway faced lengthy delays after the accident, which happened at 8.20am.
Police rushed to the scene but did not have to close the road, as pictured here.
Police spokesman Dan Mountain told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “One person provided a positive breath test and has been taken into custody.”
No-one was injured in the accident.
