Two youths have been arrested as police step up their investigations into a serious assault on a 15-year-old girl in Burnham-On-Sea.
Police said the teenager had been walking along Burnham Road at lunchtime on Sunday April 9th when she was attacked by a male youth.
The incident took place between mid-day and 1pm in an area near the Total petrol station pictured here.
Police spokesman Dan Mountain confirmed to Burnham-On-Sea.com that two 14-year-old youths had been arrested.
He added: “One has been released without charge and the other has been relased on bail pending further inquiries.”
