Police appeal for witnesses after accident at Burnham-On-Sea

Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday night, December 10th.

Paramedics treated a casualty at the roadside at 11.10pm near the Edithmead Roundabout – as shown in our photo – before rushing the victim to Weston General hospital.

The incident occurred near a laybay along the busy B3140 into Burnham-On-Sea, just yards from the motorway roundabout.

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has any information to help police enquiries.
