One person was taken to hospital with neck injuries after a two-car accident on the A38 near Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday morning (March 11th).
Paramedics and police were called to the scene, outside the Orchard Inn at Highbridge shortly after 10.30am.
Although both vehicles were badly damaged in the collision, pictured, none of the three people in the cars at the time was seriously injured, a police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Police directed traffic around the incident, and the A38 was only briefly closed for recovery of the vehicles.
“The occupants had a lucky escape – it could have been a lot more serious,” added the police spokesman.
