Traffic was disrupted through the Isleport Industrial Estate, near Burnham-On-Sea, on Monday morning after a rush-hour accident.
The accident occurred at 8.45am after a collision between a Mercedes van and a Toyota MR2 sports car.
The limited edition Toyota roadster was stationery whilst waiting to turn right into Lawrence Close when it was hit from behind by the van and pushed
30 yards along the road.
The Toyota suffered extensive rear damage, as shown in the photo.
Police officers from Burnham-On-Sea attended the scene, together with paramedics. The female driver of the Toyota declined to travel in the ambulance, but was later conveyed to hospital by a friend with pains in her neck, a shoulder and a leg.
