Youngsters at Burnham-On-Sea’s Playaway Day Nursery had a special visit from one of the town’s fire engines on Thursday (March 22nd).
The nursery’s Julia Gaskell told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The children were able to go in the engine, sound the sirens and generally explore the vehicle, assisted by the kind fire officers.”
“The children, who are at the moment learning about vehicles and transport, had a wonderful morning. A big thank you goes to the fire brigade for allowing the visit!”
