A brand new Italian pizza restaurant is to open in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea during May.
Owner Haci Joch revealed his plans to Burnham-On-Sea.com this week, saying he intends to transform the former Premier Restaurant in Abingdon Street, pictured, into the new venture.
Called La Vela, the new restaurant will cater both to those wanting to take away food and sit-in.
“I think there’s a big gap in the market in Burnham for a good pizzeria. There’s nothing like it at the moment and I hope we’ll do well,” he said.
The new business is scheduled to open by May 15th.
