Staff at Burnham-On-Sea’s Home Farm holiday park were feeling ‘in the pink’ on Friday (November 5th) when they held a special fundraising event.
Ten of the team at the park wore pink clothing throughout the day and held various fundraising activities to raise cash for Somerset Breakthrough, a charity that helps women with breast cancer.
Organiser Holly MacBeth told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The day went really well – we had plenty of fun, boosted awareness of the charity’s work, and hope to have raised a good sum.”
“Many of our male staff joined in the event too by wearing pink and we also encouraged our guests to donate to the charity.”
The group will know over the weekend how much it has raised. More details about the charity are available here.
