Burnham-On-Sea Pavilion starts month-long cancer charity fundraiser
Burnham-On-Sea Pavilion has begun a month-long fundraising coffee event for charity.
The pier’s cafe is raising money for MacMillan Cancer Support throughout September.
Owner Louise Parkin, pictured, said: “Buy any hot drink this month, whatever size, and we will donate 20p to this very worthwhile cause to try and help people suffering from this dreadful disease.”
She added that the fundraising has already got off to a great start after a council cleaner found £15 over the weekend and donated it to the collection.
