Burnham-On-Sea’s season of free outdoor concerts continues with Picnic In The Park today (Sunday, July 7th).
The free event will be held from 12.30pm until 5.15pm, with a great line-up of live music.
The organisers at CADS — the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society — say the event is one of the highlights of its 22nd season.
“It promises to be a great afternoon,” says organiser Mike Murphy.
“We will start with the guitar and sweet vocals of Emily Elswood and the original songs of 3 Hardboiled Egg (heads!), to be followed by popular band Drop The Mic, and the harmonies and guitar of Luke and Dusica as Little Secrets.”
“We will also have the headline Bristol swing and dance band with top vocalist, The Blues Happenings.”
“There will also be a line-up of stalls with ice creams, burgers, pictures, shawls and Henna tattoos plus face painting and hair braiding, and a bouncy castle and a slide plus pancakes / noodle bar.”
“Our bar will also sell Real Cheddar ales, Riches Cider, wines, water and soft drinks.”
