Volunteers have planted over 1,000 bulbs around Highbridge’s Apex Park this week in an effort to brighten up the park next Spring.
Following two previous postponements due to bad weather, members of the Friends of Apex Park Improvements Group and Sedgemoor District Council’s Clean Surroundings Team teamed up to make sure the session went ahead.
They planted the bulbs to the west and south areas of the lakes during Wednesday (December 12th), as pictured here.
A spokesman said: “This work should provide some colour within the park next Spring! Our thanks go to all those who helped out.”
