Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called out on Monday (May 13th) to bring this car blaze under control.
Two crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called out at 12.41pm to the M5 northbound between junctions 22 and 21.
A spokesman said: “Fire Control received numerous calls to a car fire on the motorway. Two appliances from Burnham-On-Sea were sent.”
“Firefighters dealt with the car well alight on the hard shoulder using a compressed air foam jet and two breathing apparatus. The fire also spread to hedgerow and one hose reel was deployed to extinguish.”
