A fundraising Elf Day was held in aid of The Alzheimer’s Society at a Highbridge shop on Friday (December 6th).
The team at Sopha, Highbridge’s new furniture store, dressed up as elves for to raise money for people affected by dementia and spread some festive cheer.
Emily Scott, one of the co-founders, said: “Our elves enjoyed ‘expressing their sELVES’ for The Alzheimer’s Society. Alzheimer’s is a cause close to our team’s hearts as we have all lost a loved one to it. 2014 was the year both Emma, Matt and I lost their grandfather to it.”
Co-Founder Matt Scott added: “We love taking every opportunity to raise awareness for causes close to our hearts. I want to congratulate the team for coming up with such a great cause this time round.”
Sopha will also be taking part in Christmas Jumper day in conjunction with Save The Children next week, and more fundraising activities are being planned.
