A family dog show held near Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday (November 10th) has been hailed a success after attracting scores of pooches and their owners.
Local based dog rescue group ‘Help4Hounds Dog Rescue’ organised the fundraising event at Mark Village Hall.
Dog show classes ranged from handsomest hound to best veteran and best trick and best rescue dog. There will also be sponsored events through the day including a head shave and leg waxing!
“Thank for everybody that came to support us – we were overwhelmed with the support, which meant such a lot to us,” said a spokeswoman.
“We raised a total of £685.72 so a big thank you goes to everybody who helped us.”
