A drone enthusiast has captured these stunning ‘bird’s eye view’ photos of Burnham-On-Sea’s famous beach lighthouse this week.
Long shadows of the lighthouse’s legs were cast across the beach by the low winter sunshine.
Burnham-On-Sea.com reader Pete Emery took the shots from high above the landmark using a remote-controlled drone.
Burnham’s lighthouse is one of the world’s top ten most beautiful lighthouses, according to an article in 2014 by the US news website Huffington Post.
Remote-controlled aircraft are increasingly being used to capture video and still images of public landmarks.
