Burnham-On-Sea fire crews tackled this dramatic blaze in East Huntspill on Tuesday (October 8th) where a caravan was destroyed and power lines were damaged.

Crews were called to Church Road in Bason Bridge at 12.52pm, as pictured here.

A fire service spokesman said: “The fire service were called to tree on fire. One crew from Burnham was mobilised.”

“On arrival, the crews confirmed that there was a static caravan involved in the fire and requested the second appliance from Burnham-On-Sea to assist.”

“The crews used one compressed air foam main jet to extinguish the fire.”

“It caused 95 percent fire damage to the caravan and minor damage to overhead cables.”
