The Friends of Burnham-On-Sea Community Centre held their annual pre-Christmas Coffee Morning on Saturday (December 2nd) which was well attended despite the freezing weather outside.
Everyone enjoyed a hot drink with festive cakes and biscuits – and get some early Christmas gift ideas.
“Proceeds from this event will augment a grant from HPC towards the renewal of the heating system in the Centre,” said a spokesperson.
“It is hoped that this will ensure the Community Centre remains sustainable for years to come and continue to be the heart of our community.”
The tables included various craft items by Rosemary and Hillary, beaded jewellery by Tayla and hand-painted Christmas and birthday cards by Marion.
The raffle always proves popular and this year was no exception. The main prizes were kindly donated by Berrow Co-Op and Westfield Eggs which were won by Tayla Edwards and Rosemary Lane.
