Burnham police issue fresh appeal after more vandalism

-

A spate of vandalism in Burnham-On-Sea has continued this weekend with a phone box being attacked and further damage around the town.

Vandals smashed the glass surrounds of this phone box in Burnham Road, opposite the entrance to King Alfred School, as pictured.

A wall and a fence in a side road on the Rosewood estate were also damaged on Saturday night. Residents in Burnham town centre also reported that several flowers had been pulled up and thrown across the High Street late on Saturday.

It prompted officers at Burnham Police Station to issue a fresh appeal for anyone with information to come forward by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Burnham-On-Sea.com reported last week how police had issued a similar appeal following several acts of vandalism.
