Children in the reception class at Berrow Primary School and Berrow Pre-School have been taking part in a number of activities around the theme of ‘Peppa Pig goes Camping’.
The youngsters spent most of the week outside and lessons were all taught in tents.
The week ended with a barbecue which the parents were invited to.
Daycare Manager Annette Milburn told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were quite lucky with the weather – we only had one wet day and although it was windy the children had a lot of fun. The children enjoyed making ‘petal perfume’ and they also made their own tents using poles and fabric.”
“The children got so much from the activities – they made paths for Peppa to find her tent, the children enjoyed setting up each tent with a different focus: reading, singing, lego and writing.”
