Flames leapt into the air after a two-vehicle crash near Burnham-On-Sea on Wednesday morning (August 2nd).
One fire appliance attended a car on fire following the incident at 6.45am on the Bristol Road in Pawlett, as pictured here.
“Two casualties were conveyed to hospital via ambulance with minor injuries,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“Crews put the fire out using two breathing apparatus sets and one hose reel jet. The cause of the fire was deemed to be accidental ignition.”
