Burnham-On-Sea art show is ‘sew’ successful for patchwork group!

-

Over 200 people have attended an exhibition of unique patchwork artwork in Burnham-On-Sea over the past fortnight.

Enthusiasts from the Levels and Moors Embroiderers held the display at Material Needs in the High Street during Somerset Arts Weeks, which ended on Saturday (October 3rd).

One of the organisers, Ann Rothwell, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “There’s been a lot deal of interest in our display of more than 45 items made by members from across the Burnham and Bridgwater area. We hope to be back here again next year during September.”

Among the items on display were patchwork versions of the Berrow Wreck and a map of Somerset, pictured here with members Ann Rothwell and Sue Prosser.
