Burnham-On-Sea’s summer season of free outdoor music events kicks off on Sunday (May 8th) with the town’s annual Party In The Park.
The town’s Manor Gardens will be alive with entertainment and live music from 12.30pm to 5.30pm featuring The Fallen Apples, Nicky Swann Duo, Redhillbillies and Adam Smith.
There will also be a children’s entertainment plus ice cream, hot food and a real ale, cider and wine bar.
Organiser Mike Murphy from CADS (the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society) told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have our fingers crossed for great weather this Sunday and hope that everyone will come and enjoy a great afternoon’s entertainment.”
The season continues in June with Jazz in the Park and Picnic In the park in July. CADS holds several free events a year for the benefit of people in both towns.
