Hundreds of people headed to Burnham-On-Sea’s Manor Gardens on Sunday (May 7th) for the town’s first free outdoor music event of the year.
An afternoon of Spring sunshine attracted record crowds to Party In The Park where five hours of free, live music took place.
The live acts included girl group Lady Garden, Daft Folk, Raising Cain and Dry White Bones.
Dawson Panter-Wray took this overhead photo from a drone during the event in the gardens, illustrating the crowds.
Organisers at CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge Cultural Arts and Development Society, said the event had successfully launched the group’s 20th season of concerts.
The group’s Mike Murphy told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The weather was superb – we couldn’t have asked for a better afternoon. It got the music season off to a great start.”
The next CADS event will be Burnham’s Jazz in the Park on Sunday June 11th.
