Police have launched a clampdown against inconsiderate parkers along a busy route through Highbridge.
Following residents’ concerns about parking along Church Street, officers have stepped up their patrols and been making bookings in recent days.
Several vehicles, including the one pictured here, have received police attention after slowing traffic through the town in recent days.
It comes after Burnham-On-Sea.com recently reported that Highbridge residents had recently voted illegal parking the top priority for police in the town for the coming few months. Members of Burnham-On-Sea.com’s discussion forum also highlighted last week how poorly parked vehicles along Church Street had caused long queues of traffic.
