Final rehearsals are taking place at Burnham District Pantomime Society this week as it prepares to perform Robinson Crusoe.
The group’s 39th annual panto will take place in Burnham’s Princess Hall from February 1st until February 9th (except Monday February 4th). There will be daily performances at 7pm and matinee shows at 3.30pm on February 2nd and 3rd.
The show has been co-produced by Paul Wynn and Val Holmes, and Paul told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Tickets are going well, but there are still a few left on most performances.”
Tickets are available from The Barber Shop on Burnham High Street, costing £7.50 for adult, £5 for children and senior citizens, and £20 per family ticket (midweek performances only).
Members of the two junior chorus teams include Georgia Tonkin, Paris Hazelton Cavill, Bethany Collins, Lucia Blackmoor, Molly Kempton, Lorna Davey, Elizabeth Tolley, Ben Kempton, Ophelia Hazelton Cavill, Douglas Bell, Chelsea Coombes, Gabriele Blair, Georgia Gill, Ashley Stearn, Sophie Hodges, Kody Shadbolt, Emily Elswood, Rory Shadbolt.

The pantomime dancers include Sophie Creswick, Kirsty Cavill, Louisa Date, Claire Burke and Charlotte Bishop.
Musical director Colin Frechter practises several of the foot-tapping scores with members of the junior chorus.
