Heavy rain and strong wind failed to halt Burnham-On-Sea’s annual donkey-led Palm Sunday parade at the weekend.
The procession went ahead on a shorter route and was joined by a group of around 40 residents.
Members of St Andrew’s Church carried palms and palm crosses around the churchyard behind a donkey.
Several of the church’s junior members were also dressed in Biblical clothing, as pictured here. Vicar Reverend Graham Witts said he was pleased the tradition had continued despite the weather and thanked all those who took part.
