Vandal ‘captured on CCTV’ during paint attack on Burnham-On-Sea home

-

A Burnham-On-Sea resident has issued an appeal for help in identifying a vandal who threw a large quantity of paint over his home on Saturday morning (May 7th).

Police were called to the house in Heal Close following the incident at 7am when blue paint was thrown over a wall and fence, as pictured here.

The vandal – who the homeowner says was caught on CCTV, as pictured – threw the paint over the home from Worston Lane, which runs alongside the property.

Home owner Jason White, pictured top, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “It’s incredibly annoying that someone has done this and I hope that anyone who can identify the man will contact the police.”

“I have no idea why this was done – we’ve spent the whole day cleaning it all up. It was a senseless act of vandalism.”

He describes the person who is pictured in the CCTV coverage as “a middle-aged man wearing a black balaclava, a green bomber jacket, jeans and white-coloured shoes.”

Anyone with information should contact police via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
