Community policing meetings set to be held in Burnham and Highbridge

-

Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge residents will be able to have their say about policing in the town when the quarterly Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting is held later this month.

PACT meetings give local residents a chance to influence what happens in their neighbourhood.

The next meetings are on Tuesday 21st April at 7.30pm in the Community Rooms, Market Street, Highbridge; and on Thursday 23rd April at 7pm in the Old Courthouse, Jaycroft Road in Burnham-On-Sea.

Sgt Steve Lawrence told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “These meetings are a great opportunity for local people, young and old, to have their say on policing in their community – and can empower us to work together to tackle the issues that matter to them.”

If you cannot attend your local PACT meeting you can register your list of priorities for your neighbourhood by speaking to your local beat team or calling 0845 456 7000.
