Residents in Burnham-On-Sea have chosen tackling anti-social behaviour, illegal parking and speeding as the top priorities for police in the town for the next three months.
Dozens of residents attended the latest quarterly Partners and Communities Together (PACT) meeting, held on Wednesday evening (July 28th) in the Town Council Chambers, where they were given a chance to influence what issues are tackled in the town.
Residents voted on which issues should be tackled as the top priorities for the coming quarter.
Anti-social behaviour in the town centre centre and along the seafront at night. plus illegal town centre parking in the town centre were chosen as the top two, followed by speeding along Berrow Road and dog fouling.
Other issues mentioned were dog fouling, littering, and illegal parking of commercial vehicles.
Sgt Ian Kennett and PCSO Eliot Green also gave updates on the police’s progress in tackling the priorities set at the previous meeting earlier this year.
