Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre will be hosting a superb piece of theatre for the whole family during the school half-term holidays next week.
‘The Owl and the Pussycat – Adventures in a Pea Green Boat’ will be performed on Thursday 27th October at 2pm by The MakeShift Ensemble.
The group will bring adventure and humour to this wonderful retelling of Edward Lear’s classic nonsense poem, brought to life with puppetry and live music.
Audience members are asked to bring their imaginations and expect to be entertained whatever their age.
Makeshift Ensemble made up part of As-One Theatre Group who came last year with their special telling of Tinderbox.
“Their creative storytelling and imaginative use of theatrical techniques is a joy to behold. Come and enjoy the story or come and admire their skill – drama students will be fascinated, costumers inspired,” added Sam.
