Over £500 has been raised for The Friends of Burnham Hospital and Burnham Baptist Church during a joint tabletop fundraising sale.
The event on Saturday (April 12th) saw refreshments, bric-a-brac, craft items, jigsaws, toiletries, jewellery and more.
The proceeds taken by the church will go towards a project they are working on and the funds raised by ‘The Friends’ will go toward projects to help not only the patients but also the staff of the hospital in the future.
Wendy Westwood from the church stated how pleased she was with the result and thanked those who attended.
Ceri Joyce, chair of ‘The Friends’, added: “We are so pleased with how successful these joint ventures are and look forward to holding more in the future, the next one being with the Methodist Church in June.”
