Over 200 excited children attended a Treasure Hunt at Highbridge’s Apex Park in Wednesday (August 21st).
The Friends of Apex Park hosted the free event and received plenty of positive comments from participants.
“They said that they got to see parts of the park, such as the woodland area and the Living Art Sculpture, that they never knew existed!” said a spokeswoman.
“People collected a map and question sheet from Apex Park’s main office and had to answer fifteen questions correctly.”
“Each child was awarded a medal and small prize as a reward and they walked over a mile whilst exploring the park.”
“The Friends of Apex Park would also like to thank the public for their kind donations, which will go towards future group events.”
