Customers visiting a Burnham-On-Sea opticians were greeted by a special guest as part of a fundraising day for Guide Dogs For The Blind.
Rod Carne and his four-legged friend visited Specsavers in Burnham High Street this week during the store’s fundraising to mark Guide Dogs Week.
Staff paid £1 each to dress in bright neon colours and customers were also able to get involved by taking part in a raffle as well as purchasing Guide Dog teddies.
“We’re really pleased that Rod was able to come down for our fundraising event and everyone enjoyed a fun packed day,” said Rama Venkat, store director at Specsavers in Burnham.
“Specsavers has a long association with Guide Dogs and we wanted to do something special to support them so please come along and get involved.”
