A post box was pushed onto its side in Burnham-On-Sea town centre this week after a lorry struck it.
Eyewitnesses said the Royal Mail box in the High Street was struck by a lorry reversing into a parking bay outside Greggs the bakery shop.
No-one was hurt in the incident. The area around the box has been taped off as a safety precaution, as pictured below.
Royal Mail says it plans to replace the box, which is near the junction of the High Street with Adam Street.
