A well-known TV actor from the classic BBC sitcom Only Fools And Horses entertained a sell-out audience in Burnham-On-Sea on Saturday (November 2nd).
John Challis, who appeared as Boycie in the long-running TV series, brought his touring show, called Only Fools And Boycie, to Burnham-On-Sea’s Princess Theatre.
The capacity audience enjoyed an evening of humorous anecdotes and stories that recalled the TV programme’s colourful history.
As well as talking about his time on the sitcom alongside Del Boy and Rodney, he also recalled stories from his TV career on Dr Who, Coronation Street and The Green Green Grass.
Fans also got a chance to meet John afterwards when he signed copies of his books and chatted to audience members.
The theatre’s Business Development Officer, Beccy Armory, pictured top with John, told Burnham-On-Sea.com the evening had been a “great success” that was much-enjoyed by the capacity audience.
It’s the second time that John has visited the Burnham theatre – he last appeared in 2014.
