Final tickets are on sale for a special performance of the hit musical Oliver taking place in Burnham-On-Sea this weekend.
Rehearsals are underway for the show at The Princess Theatre by the young members of Burnham Excellent Entertainment Society (BEES).
The full-length classic musical brings vividly to life Dickens’ timeless characters with the ever-popular story of the boy who asked for more.
Lionel Bart’s sensational score includes ‘Food Glorious Food’, ‘Consider Yourself’, ‘You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two’, ‘I’d Do Anything’, ‘Oom Pah Pah’, ‘As Long As He Needs Me’ and many more.
The show will be performed on Saturday at 7pm after Burnham’s Christmas lights switch-on. A second performance will take place on Sunday 23rd November at 3pm.
