Toddlers and parents in Burnham-On-Sea joined a nationwide celebration to mark the growth of childrens centres across the UK on Friday (September 18th).
Burnham’s Octopus Centre in Winchester Road marked the Sure Start Children’s Centre Week with a range of special activities, including T-shirt making – as pictured here.
Di Turner from the Octopus Centre told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The children at Friday’s session had a wonderful time decorating T-shirts, enjoying special healthy snacks and they all had balloons to take home with them.”
Parents were also able to talk to the centre’s new team about the facilities on offer.
