Western Power Distribution has apologised to 79 Burnham-On-Sea home owners who were without power for almost nine hours on Friday (April 5th).
Power was cut to homes in part of Burnham during the early hours of the morning and was not restored until lunchtime.
Alaina Henderson, Western Power Distribution spokeswoman, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “79 homes were without power from 4.21am in the Palmers Close area of Burnham.”
“Power was restored just after 1pm and the fault was a underground joint that failed.”
She apologised for the inconvenience to customers.
