Burnham-On-Sea jet skier Nick Edrich competed in Round 2 of the British Championships in Oxford over the weekend and came away with maximum points.
Riding his Hydrospace S4, Nick won full points in his class and was second in the expert class.
Nick told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “I was overjoyed how the weekend unfolded as there was a full line-up of racers, which included several British Champions.”
“The course was a very fast open layout which made for some great racing and suited my riding style.”
“However, I was surprised to be up among the top riders in the expert class so early in the season.”
On the last lap the leader made a small mistake while trying to navigate through the backmarkers and Nick seized the opportunity by taking the opposite split course and the two riders came out side by side. Nick got pushed out wide and had to settle for a well-placed second.
