Where to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Burnham-On-Sea area

Revellers in Burnham-On-Sea will be able to celebrate the start of 2009 in style with a line-up of entertainment on New Year’s Eve.

Local group Snappa will be in action at the Old Pier Tavern in Pier Street, playing a line-up of popular music from 9.30pm onwards.

A 1950s and 1960s disco will be held at The Ritz Social Club in Victoria Street from 9pm.

Tickets, costing £2.50 each, are on sale at the club by calling 01278 785365 or visiting the club.

The Railway Inn in Burnham-On-Sea’s High Street will be holding a free jukebox event throughout the day.

And Brean Leisure Park will be holding a New Year’s Eve Party with live entertainment from The Rockin’ Berries, a popular group from the 1960s.

There will also be a buffet, disco, family games and more. Tickets cost £30 for adults, £15 for 5-15 year-olds and £3 for four year olds and under. Call 01278 751595 for more details.
