Residents across Burnham-On-Sea celebrated the start of 2016 with a night of special events which included a formal ball.
Over 150 people crowded into Burnham’s Princess Theatre for the New Year’s Eve Ball last night where live entertainment included Chris Franks as Frank Sinatra and Burnham’s Dancefit Academy Showgirls, pictured.
The event, run by The Friends of The Princess, saw attendees ‘dress to impress’ with a wide range of formal outfits.
And around 200 people attended a New Year’s Eve Party at Burnham’s Lakeside Holiday Park where the audience enjoyed a disco leading up to the all-important chimes of Big Ben that heralded the start of 2016.
Many local pubs in the Burnham area were also busy with good-natured revellers enjoying live music to celebrate New Year.
